I was wondering where to put a current balun. The current balun should eliminate QRM a little, and eliminate unbalanced current flow on the balanced coax line. 

With the balun placed at the ATU, the feedline is balanced up to the ATU. When placed at the TRX, the coax will be part of the radiation pattern so HF will be introduced in the shack.</description>

Built this antenna according to NonStopSystem&#039;s plans as an experiment. Has some interesting results, I must say.

[VNA test at 7-7.1MHz]

Not really promising, but then again, it&#039;s a test loop. The capacitor for the tuned loop is a PCB type, and it needs to be bigger because I don&#039;t reach capacitance yet. Scanning a range it shows a nice but unexpected story:</description>
